I have two 10 gallon's setup for the purpose of new arrivals. I actually set these up before i setup my main tank. Both have 10 pounds of live rock and argonite sand in them. I intend to use one for inverts and corals and the other for fish. Only time I think I will have an issue is if a fish gets sick while I have another in the new arrival tank. That said given when my main tank is full up and running I plan on only have 4 fish I hopefully wont ever have to deal with that.

    Just my thoughts

Well it looks like all of your questions have been answered...but to further add on be sure to acclimate them nice and slow. Inverts need a longer acclimation period because they don't have the immune system fishies do.

Some turbo snails have been a pain in the rear to acclimate. No matter how long I acclimate them, they still go into hiding for a day or two. Slackers.
