    Kinda...... just not well.

You could keep your lower light requirement SPS under it, but it would have to be at the very top of the tank.

As for Clam, You could keep one. I can't remember which, but the clam section here has them listed by light requirements. There is one of them that is very tolerant of low light.

I have a 45 and had this exact setup. Just upgraded to two 175W MHs as well as the T5s in an attempt to get SPS to flourish.

You will definatly need to ditch the crappy current bulbs. Get some ATI or Geismann bulbs for starters.

You can try a Derasa Clam as they have the lowest light requirement of the clams. I was able to keep SPS in my 46 under a Nove Extreme Pro but that was 6x39w bulbs. I wouldn't attempt any of the harder SPS like Acros, but you should be ok with digis, caps, stylos, and birdsnest.

I agree also that you should get new bulbs. The stock generic bulbs could be too stark. Try 2-ATI Blue Plus 450mn for the front and or rear and either ATI Aquablue 12K or UVL 75/25 14k for your daylights. One of each would be a good mix. UVL Aquasun 10K pink is ok if you have any red corals. You could mix all 4 up but put the ATI Blue Plus in front or 2 ATI Blue Plus and 2 ATI Aquablue. Anyway ATI and UVL are the ticket, I got mine from reefgeek.com.
