Your chances are 50/50. They will either fight to the death or pair up. That being said, how do you plan on being able to tell which fish is a male and which is a female? Also, do youp lan on adding anything else to the tank that these fish will be in? There's a reason they're called "devils" after all :)

perhaps a wrasse all though the damsel may try to bully it so get one a bit bigger, i would stay away from another damsel as i doubt they would be friends atleast at first, fish arent people;)

my damsel went after my wrasse and tang at first, then they started bullying it back, now it's scared of even messing with the chromis' it's almost like the coris just put it in it's place and now it's really docile

What make you think its lonely ? And adding a male and female if you do get lucky does not mean they will not tear one or the other up.. And My guess is if the one that you now have in there has gotten used to the entire little tank for its own ? It is not going to take kindly to an new interloper on its feeding ground especialy one of te same species , You would be far better off adding a totaly different breed of fish. One that can defend itself agiant the Fiji's wrath .
