    well as for open or closed I think they will normaly be kinda 50/50, enyone else?
    Mine are pumping type so they constintly open and close, when introduced to my tank the peice just shrivled up and stayed like that for just under a week but in the following week it had split and divided up into 4 seperate peices all are doing fine at the moment.
    So dont worry just yet give it some time

    mine were 50/50 yesterday but now are fully open. I guess they change from time to time as stress indicators? Open when happy, 50/50 when OK, and closed when PO'd. I just fed mine some phyto and i was pulsin like crazy for a minute or two :)

    If you need more Xenia let me know where you live. If you are within a dive I have zenia on sale for 5 to 10 bucks.

    But give it time they should be fine they are just liek that when moved.
