    well hi Matt.. ( or anyone who knows lol)

    well im about to install fedora 12 in my computer and completely erasing XP from it..

    my question is.. 3reef will still work just fine in fedora right?
    ( just making sure)

    Should be just fine. I am running Ubuntu, Red Hat, and Unix all without problems.

    EDIT: hey im having a little problem with the download. ( tried another forum but its been a while and i have 30 views and 0 replies)
    can you explain or tell me how to download it form the website?

    i tried downloading the 32bit but when i clicked it it sended me to a list of things that said

    disc 1 2 3 etc.. i downloaded disc one. ( i want to do the CD not the DVD)

    then after it got downloaded i burned the zipped files to a cd using image burn. then i extracted the cd and tryed it in my laptop but the cd wont boot so i can install??

    im probably doing all wrong.. sorry for my stupidity.. lol can you help me out so i can install please?

    its an Operating System. ( its like windows xp, vista, and 7) or mac

    It sounds like you are doing it right. Does the laptop have a CDR in it, or just a CD/DVD. Sometimes they don't like to read burnt disks.

    i got it lol i wasnt burning the CD as Image iso.
    i deleted that crap of windows XP and I am proud to say that now i own Fedora 12.;D and im loving it lol

    I too have shed the ball-and-chain of m*******t and now run Ubuntu.

    I couldn't be happier.

    A big huge giant thanks to the open source community :2thumbsup

    What desktop does Fedora use? Ubuntu uses GNOME but I think I like KDE better.
