I am getting ready to set up, and start the cycling process tuesday. I am pretty set on most of what I need, I was wondering If anyone recommends adding anything (Chemical, or natural) to the tank (Kent Marine stuff for example).

this will be a reef tank, 125 gallon.

I wouldn't add any sort of chemical unless it is needed. Are you using ro/di water?

Do you have city water or well water? If you have well water I would recommend reverse osmosis. Also what kind of filtration are you going to use? How much live rock? Sump? Refugium? Depending on the filtration it would be good to have carbon if it is not already added. It will make your water clearer.

city water, I have a refug (Pretty decent one actually, dont have specs atm)

I have a RO/DI system that I will be using.

100 LBS of dry rock, 50-75 of Live, 1.5inch live sandbed.

Sounds like it is going to be an awesome tank :) you should make a build thread with a bunch of photos along the way. Carbon is the only thing I can think of. You can just put it in a filter bag in your overflow

The only thing I use is B-Ionic to keep the calcium in check. From there it is just water changes.

Best thing to do is just take your time! Let the live rock cycle the tank for you. You should not need any additional chemicals or additives. Sounds like it is going to be a great tank!
