I have a 65g tank and just brought a 35 g sump. I was wondering what lighting would be best for a reef tank with coral and fish. What protien skimmer should i get for in sump. what return pump should i get for in my sump. Any help would be apprenciated.

Lighting will depend on what coral you want to keep. SPS, LPS, or soft coral.

I suggest getting a skimmer rated for twice your display tank volume so something rated for about 75g would be great. The Eshopps Gen. II PSK-100 would be a great choice.

For the return pump Eheim and Mag Drive pumps are both quiet and well trusted. The size pump you get will depend on how much head pressure you have(height water needs to be pushed up) to the top of our tank. You will want about 10X your DT volume in pressure. This will give you a god turn-over rate.
