I am looking at getting a anemone for my tank, but my question is that will my puffer bother him. Also if I were to get a dwarf lion would he bother it? This is after I get a new light.

A large anemone can be a threat to weak swimming or slower fish. A smaller anemone wouldn't be as much of a danger. I know large anemones will eat seahorses and the smaller dwarf anglefish.
I don't have any experience with Lion Fish vs. anemones (I haven't had a Lion for 20 years, and only got an anemone 8 months ago).
Vice versa, neither fish will bother the anemone. They won't like getting attacked by the tentacles.

I DEFINITELY wouldn't put an anemone in with a puffer. Puffers are for fish only tanks. Check out this link:

Especially the part where it says "It will eat invertebrates found in a reef aquarium."

And Lions are generally FO tanks as well. Actually they're kind of for species only tanks if you ask me, although I have seen them in with other types of fish too. But they're poisonous.

Anemone's require alot of light as well. I would also increase your filtration. It seems your filtration is not strong enough for what you have in your tank, or the size of your tank. Possibly go with a cannister filter and add carbon and phosphate remover. Plus do you have powerheads to increase water movement?I would also add more cleaner inverts/snails/hermits. Just a suggestion.

Oh wow I didn't even notice your filtration is an undergravel filter. Those do nothing for saltwater tanks. They are useless. I dont even like them for freshwater tanks. You definitely need to change your filtration. Also with only 17W of light, an anemone would be dead in less then a month. I know from experience. You need more like 180W at least.

anemones do well in high watt flourescent setups or metal halide only.

I have read that lionfish are reef safe and will only eat fish. I guess it will defeat the purpose of having one in a reef if it will bother fish within it? The puffer is more of a curious fellow, so that one I'd stay away from. They are both aggressive and wouldn't add with an anemone just to play it safe.
