    I have 2 Bubble tip Anen. Now I have had them for a while in my 120. The issue is they are not filling up and blooming like they should. I have fed on a daily basis seeing if they were just hungry. And i have also moved their locations to see if the light was just not enough. But nothing seems to be working. Any Ideas?

    noted from your tank thread , its been set up since beginning of this year - so 7 months old max ? - most nems do appreciate very mature water

    in addition what are you feeding? best to feed fresh shrimps/prawns or fish that you can get from the fishmongers and not frozen foods like prawns etc from the supermarket as they are designed for human consumption and may have additives that disagree with your Nems digestive system

    Well the tank is new. But the water is old. at least whatever was siphoned off/out of the 55g with 20g sump

    The lights are a little less then 7 Months old.

    As far as feeding them. I am feeding them the Frozen Krill. You think something "more fresh" would be better.

    I will give that a try.

    You should be feeding them less. Feeding them everyday will probably only stress them out. Also you should let them move into there own position. They will pick the place in the tank they like best.

    I like to change out my bulbs as follows;

    1. If the bulbs are good quality, they get changed out every yr or so.
    2. If the bulbs are cheap quality, they get changed out every 6-8 months.

    In most cases, the corals will let you know when its time to change the bulbs. You will see a small decline in thier appearence.

    Yea That is a good time frame i must agree on both.

    the bulbs are good 1s. i don't like to get the cheap 1's.

    BTW is there a specific type of food/foods that you would recommend?

    Im sorry, I didnt state which bulbs I was reffering to. I use this time frame for MH bulbs. My Actinics, which are PC's, get change every yr.

    As far as which foods, for what animal/s are you talking about?
