So once again i was browsing through liveaquaria. I came upon a really cool looking fish. I found the zebra barred dartfish. They look really cool and sound pretty easy to take care of.

    My questions.

    1. Would a midas blenny get along ok with the dartfish.

    2. Liveaquaria says it does best in pairs or a small groups, would 2 be ok or would that be considered overstocking with my current list.

My current list of fish that i plan to get.

Currently have pair of black and white clowns
    *soon to get*
    red velvet fairy wrasse
    midas blenny

I really hope this fish would work, it looks sooo cool! :D

My miday was the most aggresive fish in my tank. I would steer clear of the dartfish.

Those sure are beautiful fish! I don't know much about them, but they do get pretty big and like to school, so they would take up quite a bit of aquarium space. But they are gorgeous and rare (so the internet says)!

If you got two that wold bring you total fish that you wanted at 6. Now i dont think thats really overkill but it is alot. I would say go for it, just monitor everything and make sure the parms stay normal. They should get along with any fish and i dont think they are agressive.

I would have to say you got the exception NOT the rule. My dart fish(fire fish) are not agressive in the list. Most dart fish are timid and will hide most of the day, or sit and kinda of hover in the water colum.

sweet! i think they would cool. I think i will go ahead and do it. But do you think there would be any fighting between a pair of clowns and two of the dartifish? mainly cause their the same number, or would the difference size and shape even out possible aggression.

No there should be no fighting, clowns wont really mess with anything but other clowns
