ok. I just wasnt sure cause they are black and known to be "aggresive" but just watching these two by themselves, i don't see any sign of aggression at all and they just do whatever it is fish do all day.

IMO I would wait on the midas blenny and introduce the dartfish and the wrasse first. Blennies can be little terrors (although don't have a lot of experience with the midas personally) and seem to go after anything of similar size and shape (even larger).

I had experiences with bicolors, sailfin, yellowtails etc and all of them have a little demon in them :devil2::devil2: - I have a yellowtail now with a purple firefish but had the firefish for 6 months before getting the blenny and the blenny still goes after him sometimes and is literally 1/2 the size BUT since the firefish has established its own territory it doesnt dart and freak out like one would if just introduced. I just keep an eye and if it gets out of control in the future, bye bye blenny!

Also on another note, oceanparadise's post about firefish / dartfish hiding most of the day usually means there is a bully in the tank. Firefish / dartfish when not being intimidated will be happy swimming around all the time when the lights are on. If you have one hiding most of the time there is probably something going on that shouldnt be (just my experience)

I had a dartfish. I had no bullies in the tank, everyone got along fine, but the dartfish typically only came out at feeding time. He was a neat fish, but probably would not get another.

Also I don't know where black and white clowns were classified as agressive, they are just as friendly as any other clown I've seen. Tomatos / maroons / etc. are agressive.

Anything is possible and maybe your right but my experience throughout the years with these fish, a hiding fish meant its bullied or intimidated by another. 8)

I would agree, most fish hide when bullied. Maybe it was shy because I only had one, not a pair.

my dart fish is a peaceful fish and is constantly in the water column looking for food... i think fish are similar to people in that every one of them is different.

i think live aquria has them under semi aggressive or aggressive. And i had one lfs guy try to talk me out of getting the black and white clowns because according to him their the most aggressive out of all clowns. But i refused and went somewhere else and got my clowns :D and while observing them by themselves they don't seem like they would act aggressive to fish. And i like proving people wrong so hopefully i can prove the lfs guy wrong :D

yea i worry about the blenny, i don't want there to be any type of fighting going on in the tank so i'm really going have to rethink him.

Maybe if i don't get the blenny i could get 3 dartfish instead of 2 or replace the blenny with something else that's small and peaceful
