Question on Lighting

Hey i was wondering what kind of a light this is if anybody knows?
& Do you think that is a good light for a 55 gallon reef?
I want to have hard corals, I already have softys.

It looks to be a no name brand light. The setup would be good for a 55, but I don't know about the quality. The description just gives you generic stuff. You will hear this many times, but you get what you pay for in this hobby. The wiring and ballasts may not be the best but it could be good for you.

 

So you think its not a good light?

I have that fixture and it's great. You need to decide if you want T5s or metal halides though. There are a ton of threads here with people debating the pros and cons of both.

 

ask the seller about a warranty and if it has a decent warranty go for it. a lot of the top brands only warranty for a year so if they will warranty for a year it would give you some peice of mind.

 

It only has a 3 day return warranty & i don't know what kind it is. But i still bought it i think its pretty cheap.
