How long has the tank been set up Kulkulkan?
are these the 1st fish in there?

are you performing parameter tests ? as if water quality is not perfect this can sometimes result in loss of appetite - check ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate 1st

its not umcommon for 1st fish in a new set up to take a while to respond to food being offered , it gets easier with subsequent fish, as they can follow the example being set by the denizens of the tank

Hi Steve , the tank is 3 yrs old , it went to a new cycle, due to some changes I did, so after the cycle it's been 3 weeks, parameters are nitrate is at 20ppm everything else is in normal range, I perform a partial water change yesterday. So should I go ahead and wait or bring another fish in.
    thanks

Ok just for my sake TYPE IN COMPLETE SENTENCES!!! WHAT YOU'RE SAYING IS A COMPLETE RUN ON!!!!! And gosh would you PLEASE use a question mark for your questions??? Ugh... Anyway now that that's out of the way do not get another fish. If the ocellaris doesn't look better then don't get another one because the same will probably happen to it as well. Just do your water changes, water testing, and make sure he looks better and then maybe you can get another fish if your tank looks healthy.

i forget is the cycle ammonia nitrites then nitrates? or something else? i wouldve waited longer before adding the clown. my clown excretes very light yellow but i doubt it matters. and i feed mine mostly mysis and flakes. because he is first, and is acclimating i wouldnt feed a whole lot, or even flakes. maybe start off with 1 mysis shrimp. see if hes interested. if not your cuc can pick it up. whatever you do dont keep putting food in

and atleast periods would help :)

Way to be a asshat. When I first got my ocellaris clowns they wouldn't eat either, they didn't eat for a week. Then I putted in a yellow and hippo tang, then they started eating because they saw them eat.
