Hello I just received some zoa,s which look like they where once on a frag plug. When I received them they only have a little piece of rock connected to the zoas. I currently have live rock with allot of holes in them. Is it ok just to lay them in these holes in the to rock or do I need to glue them in? Or maybe glue them to a piece of rubble rock, then in the tank?

it all depends on what kind of lights your using for the placement portion of your question. And i would super glue it on whatever rock you want. if you have strong enough lights you could just leave it on the bottom at the sand bed, but thats only if you have enought PAR reaching it.. make since?

I've chosen a particular rock in my tank just for zoas-I call it zoa island :) I glue all my zoa right onto it. They're spreading out nicely and I can actually picture what it will look like when all filled in. Way sweet!

it'll happen sometimes but its usually not an issue as zoos are pretty hardy

Please don't mind the ugliest maxi mini anemone (the zoas don't) it was a rescue from the LFS. When I got it, it was totally white.
