I want to scrub the GHA off of my rock so it looks decent for thanksgiving. How do I go about doing this? Do I just put some Ro water in a bucket, make sure inverts are off the rock and just start scrubbing away in the bucket. Is that all I have to do?

That should be fine, but it would maybe be better say if you used the water change waste saltwater and did it in there.

    NO WAY!

You run the risk of killing off the bacteria and other what nots (which could further a cycle again). Use old water change water (that is, save the "waste" water from a water change).
