I heard if you use Chuck Norris's tears to fill your tank you will never have a cycle or ever have to do water changes and parameters will always be perfect --

    unfortunately he never cries.

I'm also cycling one of my friends tank too! Day 5 I just threw 5_6 fresh shrimp in there. Making sure ii have a cycle. Seems like my ammonia and nitrite is 0 but nitrate is 25 I think nitrate is the last stage in cycling but I never had my ammonia up. Its a 375g tank

if you have Nitrates you had Ammonia and Nitrites.

Check your ammonia and nitirite kits and if they are good then you missed them.

Yup yup I used LR and half LS and have dry sand, its a 14 gal biocube, and Im cycling a 40 gal breeder. This is my third time cycling a tank. In the breeder there are polyps on the rock and they seem to be doing really well actually.

Very nice!!! I just dont want all the hitch hikers, parasites, aptasia with LR. I know when I put my DT online it would go through another small cycle loads quicker, but I just don't want to deal with all that mess.
