question on test kit

    I have the salifert nitrate test and I've lost the little red spoon to measure the powder.....how important is the exact amount of powder to the test results? I can guess at the amount.

    if it is that small...I believe I remember what you are talking about. It's very important. When you start getting into 1 and 2 gram measurements, just a little off could be bad.

    Does anybody know how much the little spoon holds? I can try to purchase one? Maybe my LFS has an extra one?? I don't want to spend $20 on a tiny plastic spoon :-/
