So its now about that time. My Metal Halide Bulb is about eight months old, and my understanding is the performance has already begun to suffer. Now at this time I don't have any negative effects of my lamb getting old, my question is what kind of changes will I have when I change the bulb?

My Aquarium is a 29 gallon display with a single 175 watt 20k bulb.

    Thanks for input,
    Gavin

none since your changing it when it starts to go bad. if you let it get old it wouldnt be as bright and lil different kelvin

edit: really old bulbs turn on and off repeatedly
