I would like to ask something myself since we are already in this conversation, how do you make the "teeh" of a glass overflow? no glazier has told me how, they all say is too much of a delicate job and none can get me an answer.

Overflows are typically made of acrylic, not glass.

Having just read the article you were kind enough to link for us; here's my guess: The glazier first makes the "crush" line at the bottom of where the teeth would be--and then uses a circular diamond saw or some other cutting tool (but not hand cutting b/c we're talking about cutting out a rectangular piece) to cut the individual teeth out. Then, once the piece has all the vertical cuts, he/she takes a pair of glaziers pliers and breaks off every other one. Of course, maybe not--since this method would leave crush lines on the remaining teeth bottoms.

Maybe a very small dremel type tool is used? I don't know.

I don't recall ever seeing cutout teeth on glass materials, come to think of it. I've only seen it on acrylic.
