Question, white dots taking over....

Hey I am very sorry and dont know where to post this, but in my 20 planted freshwater tank there is some sort of small white dots that are increasing in numbers and spreading through my tank. It first started only a couple on the glass last week but now there is more on my plants, etc. The only change recently was that I added 4 nerite snails for cleaning up a lot of algae. I know its not snail eggs because they only reproduce in brackish water, what could this be?????

 

i think those are nerite eggs. i have some of those exact things in my reef tank. i also have nerites in there. just my .02c
