Im looking into buying a Coralife fixture from my friend. It fits over a 29 gallon aquarium, but the legs can be moved in to fit a 10 gallon. it holds 2 65 watt power compact bulbs. It has 3 chords, and features 2 moonlights. The bulbs that are in it are 1 actinic, 1 10,000k daylight and they are definitely in need of replacement. I was wondering about how much money would be an appropriate offer for this fixture, taking in account that i will need new bulbs. thanks a lot :p

$1.00. I have one of those in my garage. The bulbs will burn out very frequently and may only last three weeks to three months. I had alot of problems with those bulbs. One bulb burnt out in three days.

to be fair not all bulbs are created equally you just need to buy a quality bulb to replace it with, i like hamilton personally good price quality product. also when i upgraded my 29 to 55 i deconsturcted the PC unit and retro fitted them inside a canopy. but to answer your question yea about 50 bucks should do it if it is in good shape if it is beat up rusty what not offer like 30. i have a 2x55 watt PC ballast if your interested for like 30 bucks.
