I've used American Marine Pinpoint Controllers. Downside-individual units (more expense) no computer interface. Upside-indidual units (when one goes down the rest are still up), american made, seem simple to use and are reliable. I think having one controller for all is like having a VCR-TV all in one. When your VCR is down you have no TV. Just my opinion.-Paul

I ended up ordering the ReefKeeper Lite Level3 online but the vendor didn't have any in stock . In my search for another online vendor I started looking at the ReefKeeper Elite and ended up pulling the trigger on that one :cheesy:.

It has been up for the last couple of days and I have to say this thing is awesome! Things that I like:
    1. I have full control over programming my lights.
    2. I can shutoff pumps if a float switch is activated.
    3. I can shut off heat if the thermostat goes out.
    4. I can shut down components that introduce heat into my tank if it gets to hot.
    5. PH probe allows me to see my PH real time and see how it is effected throughout the day.
    6. 30 different screen colors.
    7. Unit is expandable.
    8. Standby's can be set up and with a touch of one button selectable components can be shut down.
    9. Its very easy to understand.
    10. Reduced the amount of clutter from wires. i.e. no more bulky timers and three power strips.
    11. The controller keypad can be located away from power strips by one simple telephone type cord.

Only cons that I would have so far is not being able to program this thing through the computer through a GUI interface and save the entire setup.

I love my Reefkeeper Lite L3. I control my MH and VHO lights, heater, fans, have alarms and shutdowns of the lights for overheating, contol the pumps and have a feeding cycle, tried Koralias on the wave maker but need to find better pumps etc. I also control my calcium reactor via the pH probe. And I also added the MLC moonlight controller and an extra pod and have moonlights on a lunar cycle. The possibilities are endless. If I didn't already have a Spcetrapure UPLC I would try the auto topoff/level control system too.
