    Whats a better buy?

Getting a nano with refugium in back or the skilter 250 (HOB)?

Alright thanks, I'm not liking the led lights I was planning on using some (5 HO.

Anyone some advice on the skilter 250?

I'm running a JBJ picotope with a PAR38 bulb. It's excellent. I recently replaced the stock filter (which works amazingly) with an AC70 to use as a fuge and to house the heater. Honestly couldn't be happier with it. I get a lot of evaporation, but it's much easier than dealing with a biocube IMO.

Thinking about adding one of the 8 gallon longs from micro-reefs to the family...they're glorious.

the cadlights tank is top of the line, the led will be the most efficient lighting system you can get for that tank.

but you can pretty much turn any tank into a nano tank. i have a marineland mini bow as my nano tank and i have to admit its pretty sweet looking.

The Picotope is exactly what im looking but some people have told me it would be better to have a nano with a refugium and that the lights wont be enough.

cadlights and innovative marine IMO are some of the highest quality tanks you can get. you should also look into the mr aqua rimless nano tanks. but they just have the tank normally whereas the tanks i mentioned before are full setups.

    Thanks for your help.

I think i'm going to go with the Mr. Aqua 7.5 Gallons Frameless Bow Front Glass Aquarium Tank and find myself some t5ho lights, only thing i'm having difficulty is picking the right filter.

I saw a post on some other forum on a DIY AC 70 fuge and it seems to me that will be a good setup for the filter. I want to have a filter that will be reliable and that I wont regret getting. Either that or i could get any filter that's good and find a skimmer for a nano?
