My livestock consists of 1X Bicolor Dottyback, 1X Yellowtail Blue Damsel, 2X Clowns, 5X Green Chromis, 20 Astraa Snails, 20 Blue Crabs

    - Chromis are fighting each other constantly and already took 2 themselves out. Anything I can do to prevent this?

    - Clowns seem to be okay, but they don't seem to be eating much. I feed them Ocean Nutrition Forumula 1(shrimp) and 2 (Veg) flakes and pellets primarily. Is this normal?

    - 2X 54W 460nm and 2X 54W 10K T5 go on for 6 hours a day now. Green algae is building up on the glass, but no signs of red algae yet on the rocks. Should this be a cause for concern?

Were your clowns eating the flakes and pellets at the fish shop? I feed my clown frozen mysis shrimp (his diet at the fish shop) and he eats like there's no tomorrow.

I'm not sure about the algae, but I have a newly cycled tank as well and I've only really had diatom algae. It lasted for about 3 weeks and then died off. I also had a very small amount of green algae on the glass but that's died already as well. I've had no red algae and everything seems to be thriving in my tank.

I don't know about the chromis, but I have heard that they will kill each other.

Hope everything works out for you with your new tank! :)

Tank is about 10 weeks old now, 3 weeks after being fully cycled. It is a 125gallon tank w/ ~200+ lbs of live rock, skimmer, and chaetos.

WAY too much fish too quickly. How are your test results?
