Acquired a 90 gallon glass aquarium from wifes co worker for free. Tank is 10 years old with hot magnum 350 filter. I was planning on redoing the silicone due to age of tank. Will this tank still hold strong even at ten years old? Is the magnum 350 sufficient filteration?

A lot depends on what you're trying to keep. A canister filter can provide good mechanical filtration, but isn't great at biological due to limited surface area and also due to the fact that every time you clean it you destroy the bacteria.

I would get rid of the canister filter and grab a nice size skimmer and reactors, but other then that i would say that if it holds water you shouldnt have to redo the silcone
