ok so im proly going to plumb my fuge in today, just had some quick questions.

    1) will be teeing off the overflow with ball valve to control flow to fuge, then allowing fuge to over flow into sump return area. fuge will be approx 6 gal maybe more.for my 60 gal reef. with aprox 1 hr turnover rate.stocking with cheato and small lr rubble. already have a pod farm and cheato ready to seed it. does this sound right?

    2) can you just tell me quick what the benifits of adding this will do? to makesure im clear on what i should expect from this.3) Do i need to cycle the fuge befor pluggin into the main system?

4)will bulk heads work on those acrylic breeder boxes or say like a rubbermaid container. or can 10&5 gal tanks be drilled, i thought the glass was to thin to drill.

    5) anyhting im missing that i should consider?

    1. yep
    2. less nitrates, less phosphates (IE less aglal growth), and many, many more pods.
    3. no.
    4. you can use a rubbermaid tub, i used a rubbermaid garbage can. and most acryilic is drillible, but im not sure about thin glass.
    5. What about a light?

lights im gonna use those spirals cfl's. what K rating is a good choice. i belive there is 3500k, 5500K, and 6500k, also have 130 watt pc lamps but this would be serious overkill
