Quick Heater Question...

    I have a Tetra 50W h10 heater near the bottom of my nano reef tank. My pistol shrimp has been busy and has completely covered it with sand to make his cave. Will this heater be ok under the sand and still heat the tank ok? Thanks!

    Since the heater doesn't have water directly around it I wouldn't think that it is doing much good. I would move it.
