^ I figured you spelled it like that for some reason. I thought it would be PhoenixHeights. But that's been your name from the start, so you're stuck with it.

i'd keep an eye on him to make sure he's not going to be picked on by anyone else in your tank.
he certainly does'nt need the stress at this time.

Is the fish fairly new?, could he still be a bit stressed with the new home, has he any spots on him, you could if you had one put the fish in a quarintine tank, and treat him with melafix or something like that, then if it does die, it will be easier to find the fish instead of having it rotting in your tank somewhere knocking the nitrates up...But hopefully he pulls through...

Fish don't normally get stuck on powerheads, unless there not too good then they get weak and stressed, he probably floated along and just stuck to it...

I would pull him out and do a formalin dip with your tank water for 15-20 min. That will kill any parasites/bacteria that are on him. It won't hurt if he doesn't either. Then either put him in your fuge or a hang on fish keeper until his wounds are better. Hopefully he pulls through. Good luck.

the dip is a good idea but at this point i think taking the fish in and out for the dip might be too much stress for the poor fella.

I have heard of healthy fish in P/H , dont forget its a fish and fish will be fish.
If it is swimming around I think it will be a good sign but if hes just on his side floating or on the bottom :( not good I would avoid catching him out and treating him ,
oh and cover that P/H intake

UPDATE: Just got home about 20 mins ago. He was stuck to a different ph. So obviously while I was at work he got up off of the sand bed and swam a little. I turned all the ph's off. He has been in my tank for a little over a month now. If he did get sick I don't know from what because he was eating- alot and swimming around alot- even last night. I don't know what happened. I think he is most likely not going to recover from this one. He is still breathing though and trying to swim. Again no damage to the fin- just some damage to the body.
