    Wondering if anyone could let me know what these bad boys are and if they are bad or not.
    They look like they have a mini elephant trunk lookin thing they use to eat. Thanks a million.

    well its tough to see! if you could get a closer pic it would be easier, but from what I think I'm looking at I'd say its a stometella snail, which are completely harmless, and great algae eaters. but google that and see if its what your looking at, they come in lots of varieties

    no sweat, I wasnt sure when I first saw them in my tank either they may reproduce, and make more! sometimes they do, they just add to your clean up crew so they are a good freebie
