    I'm aware that snails are stupid and once they fall over i need to stick my hand/tongs in to flip them over but what about hermits?

    I noticed one on his back, should i leave him and see what hapens or play god and flip him over?

    Hermits are OK, the are capable of flipping themselves over. They could come out of the shell to flip it over if needed.

    you can get special shampoos and topical treatments, but s shave and shower is your best bet....
