quick question about my first xenia?

    i bought a xenia recently at the LFS and its tentacle like things werent showing, i asked the guy and he said theyd just been feed. well few days on now and they still arnt showing, is this normal or am i doing something wrong?

    We need some info on your tank. History, water parameters, lighting, etc. I dont believe you need to feed Xenia, at least when I owned some, I never did. That tells me something else is wrong. Pictures help too.

    my parameters are all fine but nitrate is a bit high, cant seem 2 lower it?
    any how would love 2 take pics of me tank n everything in it but dont no how to upload them from my iphone is that possible?

    +1... Aside from absorbing dissolved nutrients, Xenia are mostly photosynthetic feeders and have no means for eating particulate food.

    What size tank? How long has it been running? What kind of lighting? How much flow?

    iv got the 94 river reef which comes with 2 air flow pumps and i bought a third, so plenty of current in the tank, its been running since end of may

    the lighting is built in2 the tank already, i have a lights on during the day then the blue led's at night
