    If it where me

I would dose 1 tonight after lights out and the other tomorrow after lights out
I would not want to raise the DKH by more than 1 degree in 24 hours - so your 1st target is 8 DKH so work out using the calculator how much you need to increase by 1 part for your volume of water

and the more gradually you can add that to the water the better it is for the inhabitants
so a slow drip over night it better than pouring IME

What's your specific gravity? At most salinities, that's not really that low for Ca.

I agree with Steve. Just go to 8 dKH and don't worry about the Calcium at that Specific Gravity.

According to Farley.... Alk should be anywhere from 7-11 and Cal 380-450.

The levels don't exactly matter, just that they are stable. You have normal sea water levels now.... so don't freak out and raise your stuff cause they are "low".... they are not "too low". Just raise them up gradually over a few days or even weeks.

You see a lot of folks run on the high side of the scale and everyone thinks that is "normal"..... but talk to most people that have been around a while and coral growers and they keep much more conservative numbers.

I shoot for the middle of the scale just to be safe high and low.... 9 and 430.

    Alright
Yeah thats me lol I didn't know I thought if it went down it was bad. I always keep mine at dkh 10 & Ca 450. So if they drop to my levels now thats fine?

    Its acceptable without doubt
what you never want to do is react to those levels and try and get back to 10 and 450 overnight because thats when corals , especially any SPS corals you have, will show their contempt for the changes by either quickly or slowing going very white

I've seen people accidentally cause a dinoflagellate bloom by causing a large chemistry swing. Even in tanks with low Nitrates and phosphates.
