I just installed my float valve on my RO/DI reservoir today and i noticed that when the float lets back down and water begin to flow again that there is a lot of pressure built up and it kind of shoots out for a second or two...is this a normal occurrence?

    Thanks,
    Ivan

I assume you are using a pressure tank, the water will be pressurized to what ever the tank is set for. It will gradually decrease in pressure, then when the top off is done, the unit shuts off the pressure will build up again.

Pressure tank? Just have an RO/DI with the auto shutoff block that goes to a rubbermade bin with a float valve

It can only build up to the water pressure of your house. The valve should handle that.
