Just submitted mine.

In context with airport security in particular, I feel that anything we can do these days is for the better.

Security takes time, this has been stated since 911 happened. No one likes long lines etc, however...long lines are a very good possibility when flying, and always have been. Things go wrong, weather gets bad, etc etc.

As far as these newfangled scanners - am I thrilled about being scanned? Heck no - but at the same time, I understand the necessity nowadays. If someone wants to get that excited about my "scanned image" in all its imperfect glory, so be it - glad I made their day. Still beats a strip search or worse. Furthermore, all modesty issues set aside, if you want to be crazy enough to try to smuggle anything through an airport these days and you get caught, you had it coming.

I know how anxious i feel on planes these days and how my eye wanders and scrutinizes other passengers as they board etc...plenty runs through my head. I breathe a sigh of relief when we touch down, moreso that we didnt die in a bomb explosion than a rough landing.

Sign of the times I guess.

done. i don't fly very often but i go to John Wayne Airport and the security there is good. By now everyone knows the rules of what you can and cant bring so most seem to have all liquids out and everyone prepares to take shoes and everything so the security part goes very quickly, you still have to arrive like an hour or so before your flight leaves. Now LAX airport is a whole other story, thankfully I almost never have to fly out from there

I logged on 2 hours earlier in order to give myself time to fill out this security measures

I lost my lighter in the process and had to down a can of coffee in one, but other than that it was fine

the massage with the paddle was a nice bonus

so all in all not a bad morning
