    my pump which was put into action on 10/28/08 the quiet one 3000 has stopped working the impeller isn't spinning but it feels warm when i first found it. I have it unplugged now, i cleaned the whole pump and still nothing. what is my best C.O.A

    Take it apart and find out why it stopped working.

    most likely a peice of dirt got jammed between the impeller and the impeller housing causing it to stop, overheat, and not start back up until that dirt is removed, it happens all the time and if the pump was warm when you got to it then it still has juice in it. its a bad sign when you find em cold :cry:

    I took the impeller out and cleaned around the housing for it as well

    My quiet one's (3 of them) do the same thing. To get them restarted put the impeller in some distilled vinegar for about 5 minutes, pour a little distilled vinegar into the pump, all over your sink of course. Rinse them really well and put it back together. If this does not work smack the side of the pump (fully assembled) and it should work, does for me at least.
