I own (3) Quiet one 4000s and I really like them my oldest one is 3yrs old I think. I am using (2) Quiet one 4000s in my system one for a return and one to overdrive my Aqua C skimmer I also have a spare one that I rotated out of the return role and is now my back up return pump ( I like having a direct replacement in case of a failure because you know it would fail in the middle of the night or some other time when no store is open) I use it for a water change pump as well I directly pump my return pump out into a can and pump in at the same rate with new water with the second pump. I would go for it the price sound good. You will on occasion get a lemon with these guys so keep that in mind do they say it works? I have read some reviews about problems but I am happy with the (3) I own.

I used one on my closed loop for a little over a year until it literally burned up and electrified my reef. I thought it was a fluke so bought another for my calcium reactor recirculation pump and it burned up in less than a year squirting water up into an outlet strip fastened properly under my stand and caused another electrical fire!
Funny thing is after switching to Ocean Runner pumps my chiller never, and I mean never ran again! I sold the chiller as I no longer needed it. Thye were also a PITA on retarts, often I would have to remove the pump and spin the impeller by hand to get them to restart. then the noise was terrible for several days until they cleared all the air out. Junk in my opinion and that is based on using two of them. Never again.

Ocean Runner and Eheim are my only two recomendations. I have owned 5 Mags of various sizes and they were noisy, drew lots of power and also ran extremely hot, I sold them all. I tried a Rio Hyperflow and the magnet swelled up so big it would not turn anymore after only a months use. I had high hopes for it too. Same with a Via Aqua which no longer works due to a swelled and doglegged magnet. I have not tried the MaxiJet utility series but one of those might be worth looking at.

Ive had a Quiet One for a couple years now and love it. I can't even hear it running. But I bet for $50 you can find one new on eBay, that's where I bought mine. I think I paid $45 for it free shipping. That was a couple years ago though. But yes, I do recommend Quiet One.

    Its GPH is overrated.

I got a quiet one 4000 to replace my GenX 140. They have comparable flow rates but the water movement generated by the QO was nowhere near as powerful as the GenX. It was so slow that I ended up with major gurgling issues in my overflow.

I ended up reinstalling my GenX.

It seemed like a decent pump and it should work on your 75, but it was woefully inadequate on my 130.
