quietest protein skimmer?

hi im looking for an extremely quiet/silent protein skimmer for my 40 breeder this will be in my bedroom. total water volume will be around 60 gallons and i have a 9" x 21" skimmer conpartment in my sump. what would you recomend?
dont worry about budget i just wanna see what the quietest skimmer that can fit is then i'll decide if the price is right.

They all make noise to some degree. Whether its the pump or the bubbles. I dont think any skimmer is extremely quiet.

 

My Euro Reef is pretty quiet-- its located in the living room so I'm also particular on sound level.
I'd say try to find a skimmer that does not require a high GPH power head, and put a rubber pad under the skimmer and the power head to minimize vibration sounds. And if this skimmer is going in a sump under a stand i would say insulate the stand and sump as much as possible as well (without getting to the point where the inside of your stand becomes a green house.

 

My SWC Extreme cone 160 makes no noticeable noise when the cabinet is closed. When it is open I hear a slight hum/venturi sound.

 

i have an remora, and i modded it with a small piece of acrylic over the jet.....very quiet

 

hows the swc 120? also the nac6? those were options i was looking at before. are there any other skimmers in that class?
