    i love it!!! i think once i start my reef ill look into some cool wrasses :p havent had any yet.

    It's simply coloration. The best and brightest are supermales; there's no clear line drawn in the sand.

    True, most single females will transition to male, and most definitely if there are other wrasses in the tank. There's some discrepancy in the literature if a supermale can actually be obtained in a closed system or not. The general consensus is no, or at least not without a very large tank and a harem. Moral: if you really want a supermale of a particular species, you best buy a supermale.

    I bet you'll find things to be alright.

    With flames, the supermale line is fuzzy at best. I was trying to really show the contrast. With a flame supermale, you get the really bright yellows/oranges and the hint of distinctive white line on the back/belly, even when it isn't flashing.

    Well find out the the course of the next few months.

    I have read that with wrasses, if they arent to allowed to be the dominate fish in the tank they tend to have their aggression lowered. I wonder if thats true? Cause it doesnt allow one particular tank mate to be bolder then the other if that makes sense I guess.

    I could probably be convinced of that, at least in general.
