Ok... I think Im finally done with my lighting....

Just a rundown of my lighting. 2 - 250w Lumenmax 3 reflectors reflecting phoenix 14k's. 2 Ecoxotix royal blue par38 lamps and 2 48" Reefbrite led strips.

Im really happy with this combination. Led's give a unique actinic look especially supplementing mh's. I like em.

Still tempted to get two more par38 lamps in the middle :p

    Some pics.

Wow that is some serious lighting. Looks great though. I see the point for the additional PAR 38's in the middle.

Nice job on the lighting! Are those Sicce powerheads? I have two and really like them.

    Thank you.

They are... and I really like em also. Good replacements for the koralia 1400's.

That is a major plus along with their longer life and less overall heat.

tank is looking great as always!

the lack of bulb in the middle didnt really stand out til that last shot, is it as noticable when the other actinics are on?
tempted to swap out the MH for LED in the future at all?

It is noticeable... But I kindal like just the additional actinics where there at. Cause its pretty overpowering.

I think if I went two more in the middle it would be too much.

I am gonna wait a long time til this led technology really develops for me to replace my mh's.

Really nice tank your tank made me go from my planning of a 75 to a 90. How tall is your tank top.
