R/o System on Ebay

Hi,
This looks like a great system, anyone buy one or use this system
The tank is lined, all I would need is a cut off valve for the sump.

Thats the same system that my bf's parents have attached to the kitchen sink. They have about 600 gal of fish tank and it keeps them from having to constantly run to the fish store for supplies.
I'd get it if you think its worth the money. Depending on how much the LFS is selling the RO for and how much in gas your using to get there and back.
Dont know bout gas prices out there, but here they are around $3.50 a gallon.... ​

 

tired of hauling water

HI,
I have a great water system at work and so far they have been ok about me stealing water but hauling those 5 gal tanks in and out of the lab to my car gets old.
then I haul them in the house and to the tank pour off a gal or two refil the sump don't exceed the sump limits tweak the skimmer cause the water level changed it would be so easy to set it and forget it. aal I would need is a good cut-off for the sump that system has pressure tank to refil the sump. My only concern is the tank lined with plastic..Its seems to be a bladder tank

Buy one that includes the DI resin bed. It is another step in purifying the water and exchanging bad ions for good (a simplified explanation). You will be much better off with RO/DI instead of just an RO filter. Enjoy.
