R/O water from front of publix/walmart?

    Are those R/O water filling stations ok to get water from?

    gonna need about 80 gallons to make the saltwater for my tank...

    It really depends how often the filters are changed and itf they take care of their rodi unit. if they are properly cared for, clean etc, then it should be fine. I might suggest testing 1g with a tds meter before you go buying 80 gallons.

    Is the RODI cheaper than distilled/ i know my local walmart charges $0.83 per gallon for water. Kroger charges $0.88.

    is there a way to test if R/O water is good??

    the water in the culligan system at my local walmart was terrible....with all kinds of floaties and stuff in it

    Spectrapure has a nice special going on this month on their handheld meters. $25, I think.
