R/O water from the grocery

    Mine was very inexpensive in comparission to everything else I got for the tank. I think my RO/DI Unit all together was about $125. I attached it to my washer hookup with a double head like you would use for 2 garden hoses. I got that part at Lowes!

    Yes, now call your local plumber and ask for a quote to get it installed.

    Before I had a SW tank I looked into getting a filter for the whole house because we are so close to the water treatment plant. Makes everything really gross being that close. To put in a filter for the whole house to cover everything, drinking bathrooms wash was over $3000. I think the way we have it now is just fine with me!

    Well, thanks for all the responses- I think! I'll go with R/O from Kroger for now- saving for the house unit later. my well water hasn't killed anything yet, but I did notice a 3rd eye -
