    yes i have a ro/di for my fish. no way would i use my tap water. when i first started using the ro/di unit i looked at the TDS meter of the quality of water coming in. it was an extremely high reading. i cant remember what it was but i was shocked. not sure about radiation. but nothing would surprise me. we are contaminating our world.

    Radium is naturally occurring. Fracing makes the issue worse, but there's a reason that lots of houses have a pipe leading from the bottom of the foundation to the roof, even if it was built many years ago, before fracing started.

    So, does TDS meter detect radium? If you have RODI, you are set? It got me worried..

    not sure what it detects really. just know the reading is zero after it goes threw the ro/di unit.
