    ok guys i am helping a buddy with a canopy for his new radions. we cant get the time to adjust on eco live with his apple computer. and also am looking for some pointers on running these things with night mode and what not i thought you could do alot of cool things with them.


    i am glad i went diy so much less frustrating!!!

    ok guys a little update it is supposed to be in night mode this morning till 1000. it is 7 and the lights are kinda bright for a night time natural mode.

    Ok, I haven't used anything but the propriatary software so I would tell you buddy to buy a real computer or get a windows emulator. As for the setting I only use artificial lighting and do run any lights in night mode. Moonlights are for us vs. the corals and just put more time on the leds and driver which I dont care to do.

    If the portal is anything like the software just playing with it will help you work out the details. EcoTech Marine has a good Q&A section on their site.

    haha that made my day. that was my thoughts was get a real comp. thanks for the reply. i think we figured it out. he needs to wait till it is not beta anymore. cant figure out how to turn moonlights off.

    thank you. i wish it was mine kinda!!! i did a diy for mine i love it but it kicked my butt building it.

    lol I'm glad you didn't take offense, i love bashing Macs. They are great lights, I love mine, and can't wait to upgrade to the Pros to get the violet LEDs. Start him off at 30-45% though. I ramped mine up to 70% over the course of a few months but I'm going to lower them when I get home.
