I would say the Radions are a soild CTS-V or M5. Vertex Illumina would be the Ferrari...you know, same performance you can get out of a Vette at 5X the cost. ;)

Have a look at this site: VIAddress : The Global Leader in Package Forwarding

You create an account, purchase an item on-line from the US, and have it delivered to their warehouse. They then forward the parcel to you. You should be able to find a US retailer that offers free, or cheap, shipping to their warehouse in the US. From there, you just pay the shipping to Switzerland and whatever import taxes get levied. It's still a bit on the expensive side, but probably cheaper than some of the other options you've seen.

I have no affiliation with them. I simply know a fair amount about these things because I'm always buying items on-line from the US. Typically, the shipping cost is free or dirt cheap within the US, but to ship directly to Canada it becomes outrageous. I'm not too far from NY state, so I mainly have items shipped to a warehouse just across the border that specializes in these things, and I drive down to pick them up.

I feel a bit of your pain! It's impossible to find Radions cheaper than $829 in Canada, but they are $750 in the US.
