    My rainbow monti has this little bare spot I just noticed it last night. Is this a bad sign? He's been doing great for about 3 months now. [​IMG]

    Pic is kinda small but looking at it seems to be new growth.

    Check your Ca, alk and SG levels. If they are off and it is dying off that could be why.

    IMO that's a little low. In the salt mixes we keep there are other nutrients in them. 1.026 will be best for corals due to the increase in nutrients for the coral. Lower sg is good for fowlr.

    I don't have a auto top off so if the water evaporates the SG doesn't get to high
