Ich is the the simple classic case of much ado about nothing , If its Ich simply add a air stone or two too the sump with a good air pump lower the lighting a few days and bump the heat up to 81 F keep the tank dark or even covered and set back as long as they are feeding and its really ich once they get over the stress of what ever the immune systems will make the slim to allow then to slough off the next wave of the parasite . If its ich !

Those suggestions are to make life miserable for the ich itself. Not sure about the air stone but I have heard these suggestions more then not.

You don't want to increase the water temperature because it reduces the amount of dissolved oxygen in your water. This adds increased stress to the fish which is ultimately the reason why the fish got ich in the first place. Soaking your food in garlic and vitamin C should help as well as lowering the salinity level(hyposalinity) of your water.
Quarantine tank with melachite green/methylene blue and formalin used in the bare bottom tank helps also.
Best case scenario is to reduce the amount of stress to tankmates through stable water temperatures, salinity and other key water parameters. Varied diet, water changes and efficient filtration/water flow also help with the overall health of your tank.

Raising the temp and adding the airstone should stabilize the o2 in the tank?
