    I see your 53, so you probably listened to stuff in the 70's... well the Ramones started in 74. They were heavily influenced by and covered the Dave Clark Five, The Ronettes, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Johnny Thunders, the list goes on... maybe you're just too young for that kind of music :D
