I been running the Ramora AquaC for a few days now, its cleaining up some green liquid on the cup over time. However I have notice this bubbly slime building on top of the water, does any one know how to fix this?

looks nasty. fish look happier now that the rest water is cleaner though :)

Are you talking about bubbly slime in the colllection cup water or in the tank?
The slime in the collection cup is normal.

    on the tank :)

looks like saliva on top of the tank.. the cup is starting to produce some nasty stuff though.
I guess i'll have to wait and see how it goes this next couple of weeks.

Sound like you need more surface skimming. Try to direct a powerhead or your return closer to the surface. That oily film will inhibit gas exchange and light penetration. It's very bad. but easy to fix

That makes alot of sense! That should keep the stuff on the top from building up and going through the skimmer with the rest.

I will do so as soon as I get home tonight.

    Thanks for the help.
