    HI,
    Got really scared today, noticed my baby randalls pistol shrimp molted , and as I looked closer I noticed a brisstle worm eating the molt in his cave under about 3 inches of sand and the shrimp was acting all goofy spinning and jerking about I thought maybe he was stung due to the very soft shell he may have he wasn't popping either maybe they can't after a molt till the shell becomes hard , I checked back after an hour no pistol to be seen.
    SO I figured dang worm killed my shrimp, I tried to move the rock over his caves and there he was , I guess he abadoned the cave while the bristtle was feeding pretty smart on his part.
    The worm dissapeared and the shrimp has reclaimed his caves and tunnels I am amazed how clever those shrimp seem to be..
    very nerve racking for a few moments.
    he's just starting to get his stripes and big enough to see.:p whew >

    Dodged that bullet! ::)

    I once had an arrow crap that did such a perfect moult that I could not tell the shell from the original. I remember freaking out when it kind of self destructed right before my eyes. :eek: --- first time I had ever seen or heard of an "exploding crab." :p
